ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF YOUNG PROFESSIONAL–II (YP-II)

 

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Young Professional–II (YP-II) under the NICRA-TDC Programme at SSM’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nanded-II, Sagroli, for implementation and upscaling of climate-resilient agricultural technologies in Nanded district.

The engagement will be purely temporary and contractual and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the project and availability of funds.

National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)-TDC SSM’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli Nanded-II, Young Professional-II (YP-II) 01 Essential: Master’s degree in Agronomy / soil and water conservation Engineering /Soil Science from a recognized university.

Desirable: Practical experience (2–3 years) in field agronomy, crop production, crop diversification, soil and water management, nutrient management, and climate-resilient agricultural practices. Knowledge and practical experience in watershed development, soil and water conservation, irrigation and water management, and NICRA activities will be desirable. Proficiency in ICT tools, MS Office, document editing and presentation software, along with skills in field-level data collection, experimental observations, research data compilation, analysis, documentation, technical reporting, and project handling is desirable. Experience in Government/Public Sector organizations or research projects will be preferred.

 ₹42,000/- consolidated per month

 

 
Age up to 45 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women and other exempted categories shall be applicable as per ICAR/GoI rules and guidelines.

Major Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of NICRA-TDC activities, including:

  • Implementation and field-level dissemination of climate-resilient agricultural technologies.
  • Field demonstrations, technology assessment and monitoring.
  • Collection and compilation of field data related to project activities.
  • Coordination with farmers, KVK staff and other stakeholders.
  • Documentation of project activities, outcomes and success stories.
  • Assisting in training programmes, awareness activities and technology demonstrations.
  • Any other technical work assigned under the NICRA-TDC programme.

Terms and Conditions

  • The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
  • The selected candidate will not have any claim for regular appointment on the basis of this engagement.
  • The appointment will be initially as per the project requirement and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
  • Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria as on the last date of application.
  • Original certificates and documents must be produced at the time of interview for verification.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  • The decision of the competent authority regarding selection shall be final.

The application received after due date will not be considered in any case.
  3. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of their academic qualification, experience, publication, achievements/awards etc. submitted by the candidates with the duly filled in application form and considering relevant criteria as per job requirement of the position. The list of shortlisted candidates to be called for Walk-in-Interview and invitation of interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates on the e-mail address given in his/her application form.
  4. The date and time of Interview shall be informed through e-mail only on their email address given in their application form.
  5. No option of Online Interview is available for candidates.
  6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview.
  7. Candidates who are already employed in any organization should produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer.
